The Suffolk Business Ambassadors programme recognises people who are actively shaping Suffolk’s economy and provides a platform to connect, collaborate and advocate. 

As an ambassador, you will help promote Suffolk’s economic strengths, share positive stories about our county, and support efforts to attract investment, talent and opportunity. Your voice and credibility play an important role in ensuring Suffolk has the profile it deserves at a local, regional and national level. 

All ambassadors are asked to sign up to the Suffolk Business Ambassadors Pledge, which sets out our shared commitment to positive advocacy and collaboration: 

• Attend Ambassador events where diaries allow  

• Showcase your business if called upon and act as a host for a behind-the-scenes event  

• Speak on behalf of Suffolk Economy and champion Suffolk at future events you attend  

• Showcase your attendance at ambassador events via social media and your business network  

• Recommend others to Suffolk Chamber of Commerce who may benefit from joining the programme  

• Provide a testimonial or case study when called upon as an advocate for the ambassador programme  

• Attend any Suffolk economy inward delegations that are appropriate for your sector  

• Display our Suffolk Business Ambassador logo on your website/emails  

• Wear your Suffolk Ambassador badge with pride 

This section of the website is exclusively for Suffolk Business Ambassadors and will be updated regularly with news, insights and practical resources. 

You can expect: 

• Regular briefings on key Suffolk Economy activity and priorities 

• A quarterly newsletter highlighting opportunities, events and updates 

• Advance notice of ambassador events and engagement opportunities 

The programme also supports ambassadors to raise their personal and organisational profile. You will have access to logos, messaging and assets you can use across your website and social media, and we will actively showcase ambassadors through Suffolk Economy channels. 

Above all, the programme offers meaningful opportunities to connect with other senior figures from across Suffolk’s business community, building relationships that support collaboration and long-term economic growth.
